A. Laboratory Management

Plan and assign daily testing tasks for lab technicians.

Ensure all tests are performed according to standard methods (AATCC, ISO, ASTM, JIS, etc.).

Maintain accuracy, repeatability, and reliability of test results.

Manage calibration, maintenance, and safety of lab equipment and chemicals.

B. Quality Control

Review and approve testing results for raw materials, greige fabrics, dyed and finished fabrics.

Compare results with technical specifications or customer standards.

Coordinate with production teams to solve issues such as shade variation, shrinkage, or fabric defects.

Prepare quality reports and propose process improvements.

C. System & Certification

Establish and maintain the lab management system according to ISO 17025.

Develop and update testing procedures (SOPs).

Prepare and support internal, customer, and certification audits.

D. People Management

Train and supervise lab staff in testing techniques and safety.

Evaluate staff performance and recommend improvements or rewards.

Maintain a safe, organized, and clean working environment (5S).

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Textile, Dyeing, Chemical Engineering, or related field.

At least 3–5 years in a textile or dyeing laboratory, including 1–2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Familiar with color fastness, shrinkage, tensile strength, pH, and formaldehyde testing.

Experience working with international customers (H&M, Uniqlo, Decathlon, etc.) is an advantage.

Strong knowledge of testing standards and lab equipment.

Good planning, reporting, and communication skills.

Proficient in MS Office; English reading/writing for technical documents.
