JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Job Responsibilities:

Management of Specialized Mechanical & Electrical Systems:

  • Supervise and develop preventive maintenance plans for all machinery, including weaving, dyeing, and coating machines, etc.
  • Manage electrical and mechanical infrastructure: Substations, factory lighting, boiler systems, air compressors, and cooling/ventilation systems.
  • Ensure Fire Fighting & Prevention (FFP) systems and pressure vessels are always in a state of readiness and undergo timely inspections.
  • Monitor and supervise the water supply and treatment systems.

Production Optimization:

  • Analyze root causes of recurring equipment failures to implement improvements and reduce defect rates caused by technical machine errors.
  • Strictly manage the spare parts inventory to ensure immediate emergency response while optimizing inventory costs.

Personnel Management & Compliance:

  • Train the technical team in electronic repair and precision mechanics.
  • Ensure the factory complies with customers' social responsibility and environmental standards (such as GRS, Smeta, ZDHC, Higg Index) regarding equipment safety and energy efficiency.

 

2. Requirements

  • Education: College degree or higher in Engineering, Electrical/Refrigeration, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) management role (experience in garment, yarn, or dyeing factories is preferred).
  • Expertise: Deep understanding of industrial circuit diagrams, industrial machinery, and automated electrical systems.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety).
    • Capable of designing and arranging factory layouts as requested by the Board of Directors to optimize functionality, safety, and operational efficiency.
    • Coordinate with other departments to improve and rearrange production floor plans when there are changes in production lines or machinery.
    • Ability to read and understand technical manuals in English (or Korean) is a major advantage.
    • Strong troubleshooting skills to minimize machine downtime during incidents.
  • Attitude: Hard-working, excellent internal coordination, and willing to handle emergency breakdowns after hours when necessary.
